Upcoming Studio Visits & Sessions

Wax to Silver Ring

Category: Jewelry

Visit jewellery artist Anna Ruiz Planella in her light-filled studio in the heart of Gracia, and learn how to craft your own silver ring in a 2.5h workshop. You’ll learn the ancient technique of lost wax casting, carving, shaping, driping, and building your design by hand. After the workshop, your model is cast in a metal of your choice and will be delivered to you within 2-3 weeks.

Botanical Dye Experience — Spring Flowers

Category: Natural Dyeing

In a 4h workshop, we’ll spend time in Carlota Simó’s garden studio in Valldoreix, just outside Barcelona, working with seasonal plants like margarita, ginesta, and eucalyptus. You’ll learn more about seasonal plants for natural dyeing, prepare baths, and different dyeing techniques.

It’s a hands-on session, grounded in the season, and shaped by what’s growing right outside the studio. You’ll leave with naturally dyed pieces—and a different way of looking at color, plants, and time.

Botanical Dye — Creative Residency

Category: Natural Dyeing

As part of our upcoming Creative Residency in Italy, Sept 19-23, we’re partnering up with Giulia for a 2-day botanical dyeing experience. A hands-on introduction to natural dyes, color, and slow making. We’ll begin with an overview of the natural dyeing process, then move into dyeing—immersing fibres into prepared dye baths, tending the pots, and observing color develop over time. We’ll explore different dyeing techniques, with space for experimentation and will leave with a selection of beautifully naturally dyed pieces.
